So are you more interested in the State of the Union address tonight or the Apple Media Event today?
I'm gonna say the mac event seeing as I have no idea what the other one is. Is it some American thing?
Well I can sum up the state of the union quite easily.
Lie, lie, lie, lie.. lie.
Just like the old joke, how do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is open.
Obama, in my book, seems to have really dropped the ball.
I can't see how this is a big deal in any other country than the You Arse of Aye
Apple Media Event all the way!
Okay, I should have limited responses to the politically-engaged citizens of the US.
I thought about this last night, if they were both on at the same time I would probably watch the apple event. I don't expect much new from Obama, but apple tablet! *drool*
They both take your money for stuff you don't need.
Apple's toys are shinier.
Joe Wilson should go to the Apple event, though.
"We've got some great things to show you today!"
Thanks for the laugh. Well done.
I'll probably be cooking dinner and watching Voyager repeats.
Same. Besides I want to hear more than talk from Obama. He's done talk before and isn't getting anywhere with it.
I'll spend an hour paying attention to the Apple event, 20 minutes dealing with barricades due to the State of the Union. One hour is more than 20 minutes, so I view the Apple event as more important.
My choice could not have been easier.
Our country or some electronics device? No wonder Macs are built in Communist China now days. People dont get it.
Oh, please. Tell us more.
EDIT: Wow. Someone is quick on the edit button.
They both sucked.
Thanks, I was a little harsh but what we do now is going to matter to the next generation, the tablet maxipad will come and go and there will be another device. Made in communist China no doubt.
Agreed, except the tablet is half the price I expected it to be, and it comes with a dock/keyboard. If the current healthcare bill did that, then I'd be in favor of it.
Lots of computers and consumer electronics are.
Don't like it? Buy American computers. Good luck with that, BTW.
Things made in America now days, Lawyers,Politicians,Burgers.......I was going to add Houses but our Congress has destroyed that one.....We can all be Burger flippers or Govt employees! Yepee! Didnt the UK try this?
, we're doing fairly well these days.
I think you guys changed direction the past decade or so.
Quite recently. The sudden 30% drop in the Pound's value since 2007 has actually made it more economic for our manufacturers to insource jobs from China. Whether this is good news or bad remains to be seen.
And our manufacturing is still pretty weak, most jobs are in the services industry, but more skilled than burger flippers.
And featured tall skinny men trying to get you to buy into what they were saying.
Might be time to change your sig then.
