I recently trialled a piece of software called Wiitransfer for osx.

http://www.riverfold.com/software/wiitransfer/

It basically allows you to stream your music, videos and photos to a wii, but as its platform agnostic (it uses flash for video and audio) i got thinking about how it might make a fantastic media server in general. The problem is that it encodes video in a 10fps format, which i'm really not keen on.

My question is, does anyone know of a program similar to wiitransfer (i.e. one that lets you stream your media over the internet/network as flash video/audio)? I'd love to be able to use this to watch my movies and listen to music from anywhere in the house / world.

Thanks in advance,
