That didn't even cross my mind.

But if they are actors, who can put the finger on them from the OWS crowd?

They have no leader, or hierarchical structure that can be identified. :p

You'll notice I used the word "if".

Also those people aren't *******s, they're ultra-left hipster dumbasses. They've gone down the PC road so far that they call themselves "female-bodied-persons".

The male-bodied-person should have dropped his pants.

I'm convinced he didn't have any nuts at all. Just a dick.

Neither did the Tea party when that movement started.

Simple fact is the GOP is scared ******** of the occupy movement. They know when they finally get organized the dems will gain even more control than the tea party ever did in turning control congress.

I disagree. It's refreshing to see a heterogenous movement of individuals exercising their right to protest without the corporate micromanaged nonsense that is so prevalent these days. They don't need a logo, leaders, media personalities, polished spokespeople taking charge and directing them, etc etc. They don't even need a homogenous message besides we're fed up. Unfortunately it's inevitable that these things will come to pass.

The Collective started out that way too.

But the Borg Queen soon surfaced. ;)

Unfortunately, until someone can suitably voice the movement's arguments, the group will increasingly by described by the rhetorical framing of people outside of the group.

The energy of the movement will be expended by the slow bleed of apathy unless the New York and national movements can shift from protest to a real campaign and they certainly shouldn't expect the media-at-large to do this, especially the newscast who are either too fundamentally lazy to deal with the subject's OWS is talking about or relentlessly opposed to its ideals.

I would think that with all those MacBooks on the ground—not to mention the local guys who kludged together a WiFi network with a connection stolen from a tower's microwave antenna—would be able to put together some good multimedia projects explaining the Occupy Movement.

Certainly in the US its clear they want government run - free at the point of access healthcare for starters.

On the we are the 99% blog there are loads of people complaining about their inability to get access to healthcare without spending all of their money.

In the UK they seem to initially want the city of London to act more like other local authorities and be more transparent.

The other aim seems to be a more equal and less corrupt society.
