I want to stick a couple strong magnets to the back of my iPad/case so it will mount on the refrigerator. Will strong magnets hurt the iPad at all?

Hi! There's a vid about how it looks like, but there's no information about long-term effects. I used to keep my Samsung Tab on top of external drive and had problems with sound (it didn't work untill i kept the tablet and drive separated for a few hours). Something similar might happen to an iPad, i guess

Magnetic iPad cases have been on the market for years. Magnets historically have affected two things, CRTs, and motorized data storage (hard disk drives). The iPad has neither of these.

Also, don’t forget, the latest iPad pros have magnets built into them to hold the Apple keyboard in place.

I hung my 9.7" iPad Pro on the refrigerator for a long time just using a cheap third party case I had. The magnets it the cover were strong enough to hold the iPad to the appliance.

I am not responsible if you try this and your iPad breaks. :)
