Please forgive me for my rant, but I can't believe ios 26.1 still don't have the Double tap to lock or turn off the Display without having that small circle on the Display which is quite annoying and that's the only option to do so.

I think OP means the only way to go to the lock screen by double tapping is through AssistiveTouch, which puts the AT target circle on the screen.
There's a button for that? No double tab, just one press... Or am I getting something wrong here? 🤔
