Photo stream? Under settings, general, usage is where you can find where most of your space is being used.

Also when I take pictures and then delete them my mb used goes up too

Example. I take one picture that takes up 5mb

My current memory used is 592mb, so with the picture it becomes 597mb but when i delete the picture and close the camera and photo app.
My memory is 594mb instead of going back to 592mb.

    Is this normal?

Try rebooting the phone. Might be a bug with iOS 6.

When you open the photos app and on the bottom it says photo stream. Click it and see anything? They moved it from the internal albums in iOS 6.

Yeah I did reboot the phone...it lowered it back to 466mb of used storage and my photo stream is turned off

    Why does it do that?

Im suppose to have 13.4gb of free space but why do I only have 12.9gb??

I highly doubt that is happening for no reason at all. There has to be a reason.

Try deleting your cookies. Every time you access a website, it stores a cookie. Sure it shouldn't be that big.. But give it a shot.

Have you tried restoring the phone? Then start as new iPhone.

It's likely not cookies since those are very tiny. However, internet cache on the other hand can use a lot of space, depending on the sites and the content you're visiting. Not to mention storage that apps use, and text messages, email, etc.
