ImageUploadedByTapatalk1336517039.904701.jpg I'm not sure why I got this response. I asked her this same question a dozen times and still got the same response. Before when i asked her this, she would say something like "you're kidding right?" or "you're holding it." I've never even been to this restaurant before. Very strange.

    /facepalm
    Yes, clearly photoshopped

Anyways, I think she keeps saying that because she hears the word 'ever'. Whenever I say the exact sentence without the word 'ever' I get the response "You're joking right?" or something like that. Weird though, as I have never been to this restaurant.

    Bizarre.
I asked SIRI, "What is the best restaurant in Jacksonville?" and am told it is the iPhone.

You cannot use GPS in Canada? Funny... my car worked just fine.

Siri only works in the USA for location services.

I played around with Siri, and I got this. I wasn't expecting this degree of humility.

It makes perfect sense because it found the words "phone ever" so it interpreted the whole thing as calling the restaurant. "Ever" is in the name of the restaurant and it's the first word of the restaurant's name.

Siri appears to look for key words in the sentence and in what order they appear, and then cross-references different databases according to the key words it finds. So if it finds "phone" it might first look through your contacts for a contact matching the word that appears directly after the word "phone." If it doesn't find a match, it'll go on to the next likely command you're trying to ask of it.

I don't think it always (if ever) looks at the entire sentence structure and grammar.

Weird, just asked siri "What is the best phone ever." Her response was "I couldn't find any restaurants."

That is weird. I just asked Siri the same thing "What is the best phone ever" and she came back with "I found 4 restaurants. Tap the one you want to call:"

    Must be a glitch.

Just to see what would happen, I asked the same question:
"What is the best phone ever?"
    The answer I got was:
"I think you've already answered that question."
So, if it's a glitch, it's not a universal one!;)

Yep. Along with me and probably 98% of other iPhone 4s users. I paid $800 for the phone, I should be able to do whatever I want with it.

Why are you asking siri stupid questions? Probably giving you dumb answers to dumb questions.

Funny I responded as soon as I saw the questions he was asking..... Glad to know I'm not the only one that thinks this.

No, I don't believe 98% of iPhone users ask stupid questions. You are right though.... you can ask it anything you want as it's your phone but don't get all butt hurt when people come in and give their opinion on how silly your questions are.

Leave out "Ever" and see what the response is.....

"What is the best cell phone" Something like that.
