strange ui artifacts (mbp mid 2015)

after update (and clean install too) to monterey strange ui artifacts appeared. They are more noticeable on a external display

login screen

widgets

in general, for all the senses that the graphics driver is buggy. Loops are visible when dragging windows on one of the external displays for example. Transparency also works strangely in some places

Same artifacts on my rMBP 2014 (MacBookPro11,1).
Also some glitches are visible in Finder using list view.
