    If I could only sell my black macbook, dang. Only paid $500 but still..my friend works at apple and gets 25% off too. Could get this mac for $900! Nice discount for students + ipod and printer, price point is there.

    if buying through the HE store but your not in HE.. what will happen if that ask for proof and you aint got any LMAO:p

    Yeah, but the discount on the 15" MBP is less unless you buy the top model!

    It used to be $200 across the board. Now it's $100 off the base, $150 off the mid, and $200 off the top models.

    Did college students just get richer or something? I don't think so.

    Actually, I believe that prior to today, the discount on the $1999 model was only $100. However, prior to the last revisions in October, it was $200.

    i would still not call the 13" macbook a macbook pro. no way.

    I'm going to be buying the 2.8 GHz MBP this week with a free ipod touch and printer for $2099 :p

    I agree, the pro moniker should be reserved for one's that have at least Discrete Graphics, not integrated!
