If I were an *******, I'd take this opportunity to quote all of the people in various threads who constantly claim that Fox News is the only fair and viable news outlet, and all of the others are typical socialist Liberal Media
Instead, I think I'll just let this thread populate itself with those posts.
I'm like, super smart. So I watch fix news to dumb myself up to give you peeps a chance when arguing with me.
My C-Band (big dish) system stopped receiving broadcasts altogether in January. Now, since watching almost no television, I feel myself getting smarter by the day.
Fox News Viewers Know Less Than People Who Don't Watch Any News
Sad but this is something we already knew. It just proves it.
So... Ignorance is bliss.... ?
Average fox news viewer
Did they post the polling information? I can't get to it from my phone. My two concerns are a) small sample size from only one state and b) fox is typically the most popular and thus would likely gather the largest share of people. If you have 200 people say fox news and 20 say usa today the results are likely to be skewed.
Yep- there is a poll out there somewhere that shows these people are happier than the rest of us.
There's nothing new or significant about this statistic. Many of them are Apples target market for iToyz. Not everyone in the USA can be brilliant.
Please don't interrupt the Two Minutes' Hate. You're spoiling it for everyone else.
The link to the source was in the article. You just had to look a little.
Should these results of the survey surprise you. This is just another of many surveys that show Fake news is the worse of them. NPR took the best for news source an right answers
It was 612 people ask. You can break down the answers based on percentages at how many get news from that location.
Odd, NPR is always distracting their audience with colorful, spinny, slidy graphics and little blinky things ... oh, wait ...
That's how they wean former Faux viewers from their addiction.
Yeah, really. Now we're behind schedule of forcibly aborting third-trimester babies and burning all Christmas cards as part of our Culture War.
Yes, but with such a small sample size it really doesn't seem relevant to me. They also used landline polling techniques. I don't personally even know anyone who has a landline anymore.
Secondly, why did they only ask two international affairs questions? Seems to me they could have been more thorough and asked domestic related questions also. I don't know what FOX news really has to gain from putting spin on Egypt uprising or issues in Syria. They are more focused on domestic issues.
I've been sleeping in a van with the engine running.
The poll asked 612 people in New Jersey using a randomized computer phone system, so they weren't hunting for a sample that would reflect the popularity of any particular news organization. I'd argue that this makes for better results, since it allows for a population sample to organize the poll's results, rather than an artificial restriction. Remember that Fox News is the most popular cable news channel, but that pales in comparison to network news. Or for that matter, American Idol.
Note that they did try to control for demographics.
Also, at this point, it's becoming clear that Fox has a problem informing its viewers. This is the eighth study that has found this result.
And farther proof of why Fox News is Fake News. It is getting to the point where they are not a valid source any long for anything.
Are you denying that pepper spray is a food product?
Why yes I am.
Just wow is all is all I can say to that report. That is stretching the facts even by fake new's standards.
Quick, somebody classify it as a vegetable, so that we can start routinely spraying schoolkids.
So is cocaine.
And a meme is born.
