At my new job I've been placed in a beautiful gray cubical with not one, but two mighty (mice)? Both featuring track wheels that do not work(one only goes to the right)-I've tried cleaning the things-they're spent. So, I'm looking for a replacement. I have a wacom intuos tablet that I use for freelance on my mbp, but i'm looking for a standalone mouse for mostly layout work in quark and indesign on my work G5.

I'm looking for advice from designers/pro mac users on a durable, lasting replacement(with a wheel!). Thank you in advance.

Seconding the recommendation for Logitech. I have a wireless mouse / keyboard set from them, and the mouse is excellent and low maintenance -- previous one lasted 3 years, and I only replaced it because I had to replace the keyboard (a couple crumbs too many) and they come in sets.

This is the one I have. I recommend going to a store and checking out the ergonomics of a few mice, though -- it matters a lot to actually feel it in your hand, IMO.
