I quite like choosing random numbered attachments to look at, it really is interesting and can be quite funny. Now suppose the entire ended and all that remained was MR attachment archive what would the "aliens" think of the human race.

If you are doing this you may come across some random files that download to you computer, for example I found one which is a powerpoint presentation titled

Yours is a Very Bad Hotel
    A graphic complaint prepared for:
    Joseph Crosby
    General Manager
    Lisa Rinker
    Front Desk Manager
    DoubleTree Club Hotel
    2828 Southwest Freeway
    Houston, Texas

Below are a couple of the random selection (deliberately posted this way so you can easily read the thread comments rather than see just the picture)

    View attachment 964
    View attachment 9
    View attachment 15565
    View attachment 12574
    View attachment 1028
    View attachment 965

Obviously I have left out any screenshots and selectively picked from the random set. But it is really interesting charting of Human/MR/Apple history.

    the first http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1

http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=9999 <- god please don't let that be a representation!

    http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=666 <- fitting

    http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=12345 <- WordMonger's avatar (IIRC)

    ooooh, a forbidden one! http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=11111

(not sure how you're supposed to read the thread comments from just the attachment ID though)

I meant the comments in this thread, I like the idea of the pictures out of context.

I think i remember that post. Some people go to way too much trouble to complain...
So how do you browse these attachments? I don't think I've been in the archive before.

Just put random numbers at the end of, some numbers don't exist

    http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=

    e.g. 88

    http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=88

People often post a couple so try the number either side of it

They would probably think that Steve Jobs is the greatest person ever and that some Mac vs. PC war erupted ending the world.
