Thank you for that. Though one of the reasons I went Apple some time ago is because I had little interest in continuing programming and more in creating. That is, I wished to use the tools to create, rather than create the tools. Since Apple is reverting back to "fix it yourself or do it our way!" -- with lots of cheering on this thread -- I'm trending toward going back to PC since it's a much better environment for tinkering than Apple (Computers, used to be).Well Jethro, you now have a solution to your problem. It's not a checkbox created by Apple, but long-time Apple users like us have no problem fixing our own problems.
