Oh dear, oh dear, what have my parents done this time....

My folks have somehow deleted System Preferences so that it doesnt open through the apple icon at the top left of the screen, and it is nowhere to be seen within Applications or Utilities.

Ive tried installing the bundled software from the Installation disks, but no joy. Will I have to Archive & Install the whole OS?

Any help will be gratefully received - all I wanted to do was change the freaking display sleep settings!

Meh and double-meh...! :)

The energy saver preference pane is in the following location

/System/Library/PreferencePanes/EnergySaver.prefPane

It's possible if you double-click it, it will launch (it does on my system, but then I have the System Preferences application)

Other than that, then Pacifist might be your friend
