Now they have to deal with TV stations that say they play music - but never do. And all the mind-numbing stupidity and moral disregard they show in it's place.

"MTV aims to win over Middle East"

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/11/18/MTV.arabia.ap/index.html

This squarely puts a World War involving the Middle East and U.S. WELL within the crosshairs of probability.

As stated in the article they will be playing music, our MTV no longer does this. I'd say they are the fortunate ones.

Yeah - BUT - MTV gave US that same slip back in the 1980s... You don't think they've somehow - changed? Do you?

First it's Music - Then Rock The Vote / Mega Political Activisim for Young Easily Brainwashed Minds.

Then it's boob jobs live at 1 in the afternoon with full shots for your kiddies to see... But it's "ok" because MTV says it's educational. After that, a "Scared Straight" episode where even I can learn some new "alternative" language. (completely unbleeped / uncensored)

Followed up by Loveine and Real World / Road Rules Challenge.

    You've been warned, buddy.

If ANY good could come of this, maybe we can export some of that crap music that only changes lyrics *slightly* from year to year. Maybe even throw in a "wait, there's more" and unload Carrot Top and Carson Daily on them. But thats it. Nothing else good will come of this.
