Recently, guess since the last update, it takes ages to connect back to wifi after sleep where before it was just a matter of seconds. Turning it off and back on doesn't help, from time to time it even asks for the password for the network it has been connected to for over years...

    Is this a known issue?

In my opinion Apple is not on the right track, they are putting out updates and stuff that are just not to their standards of a couple of years back. And yes an update is always coming with bugs for certain users, but I've had so many lately it's not pleasant anymore. Is this rant going to make anything better, no, but where OS X was a joy to work with (for over 6 years now for myself), it's becoming more and more frustrating...
