Tea Party vs. the Founding Fathers?

I'm still waiting for Maher's video to come up. But before that...

    My opinion, and 'nuff said.

Never understood what Glenn Beck was talking about when he said "bring God back to America." When did God have anything to do with America? Heck, one of the first things we did with this country was make it so we had no religious affiliation. And most of the founding fathers were definite Atheists, which is weird for that time period.

Man, it's been a boring 2-3 months without Bill Maher. :D

That painting is ridiculous. It has Sam Adams in the picture and doesn't even mention his beer.

The painting is ridiculous for many reasons, chief of which would be that Jesus would be doing time in a society which conformed to the moral precepts of the painter.

His overall point is spot on, but he uses some of the quotes out of context.

One problem with that painting: it's a terrible, terrible painting. I mean, flea market bad. Black velvet Elvis bad.

Even the parody is lame. I mean really, as I understand it, Cthulhu was much much larger than that. Lovecraft would be pissed
