A great American legend. And always one to sleep during Bush's State of the Union. I take a moment of silence for the great man who served his country.

I just wish that FoxNews.com does not use the lawlcatz font as they do with every story.

Wow, long list this year. Though I might not have agreed with him, I give him and his family my blessings.

We did not agree on much politically, but he did love and serve his country faithfully for many years. He and he Kennedy family have had a tough existence and his passing is the end of a political dynasty in America. May he find peace and be honored for his accomplishments. My prayers go to the family.

He sunk his presidential bid. Drove a car with a girl in it, off a bridge. Got out, swam to shore, walked home, sobered up and then called the cops. I dunno how would you feel?

Dunno...something we've all been guilty of at one time or another if we're absolutely honest.

Hmmm. I must say that I cannot remember the last time I walked away and left a drowning girl in a car, then relied on my powerful family connections to keep my sorry a$$ out of jail.

    Of course, YMMV. ;)

Chappaquiddick? Well, lessee: Cheated on his old lady. Got drunk and drove recklessly. Crashed. Ran off and cowardly left his galfriend to drown. Lied like a dog to get out from under his irresponsibility. Sounds like just another sleazy backwoods redneck, to me. But, since he was a Massachusetts Kennedy...

I have sympathy for his family members who cared for him. It is a time of sorrow for them--as for anybody who loses a relative or friend. I don't like sorrow for anybody; BTDT too many times, and it's a miserable deal. But the man himself? The less said, the better, I reckon.
