Tehran blocks access to Facebook

    Wonder how many years away we are from having this sort of thing happen to "us"*? :rolleyes: :(

    *supposed free and democratic countries.

    Following the MPs allowances scandal, i don't think it will be very soon. However, i won't be surprised if they ban anything here in the name of "tackling terrorism".

    I remember the days where it was well known all over the world that if you want to speak your mind freely Just go to the Hyde Park and say whatever you want. I guess these days are so far behind us now, and i don't think they will come any time soon. :(

    seems that Iranians can once again enjoy the amusements of Facebook.....and various politicians involved in their interesting election for president have denied that it was blocked for political reasons bbc again

    The results of the Presidential election are going to be interesting. Could be either good or bad for the U.S. depending on who wins.
