Tether a Mac to Ipad

Hello,
Yes i'm wondering could i tether my My ipad to my mac, it is a wifi model and my mac has a usb dongle I use on contract. Could I connect it to my mac and use my macs internet via the Ipad e.g turn my mac into a mini router or bluetooth etc.


Any ideas with out jail breaking please?

system preferences -> sharing -> internet sharing

share your ethernet connection over wifi. connect ipad to adhoc network created by mac.
