I will probably be doing this, this afternoon. I honestly don't see the big deal with it having to be tethered considering 98% of the time my touch is in sleep mode and I don't ever shut it down nor have I had any crashes since I've had it

Btw, if you go on a trip I would recommend unjailbreaking your iPod before going unless you are going to bring the computer your iPod syncs with.

I agree. unless some of the cydia apps cause instability, im not worried about it although I must wait for a windows based solution

or you could bootcamp or vmware windows, I would recommend bootcamp.

Like me, he probably doesn't have a Mac.

So... this is only available for Macs I'm assuming.

I ran rslite and it says it can't find IBSS211.dfu even though I have the file

then immediately says cannot open specified file
