this is bad enough but worse is that the quotes are fake. so they chose to not follow the constitution and were not bright enough or did not care the quotes are fake.

If the Lawd Jeezus were to learn about this what would he do? I found the answer in the Bible. John 11:35.

I would hate to go to a school with references to the bible right an left. I went to a Jewish day school and even that didn't have Torah versus posted about. What does that say?

Ronald Reagan vs Jesus. They would probably pick Reagan.

My god. This will result in the mother of all lawsuits. Personally I think there should be criminal charges when somebody knowingly violates the Constitution like this.

Well at least they seemed to have avoided the usual hypocrisy by only citing the New Testament.

Of course this also gives Jewish groups a reason to sue the district.

Would love to see a Muslim student sue to put Allah Akbar on the wall.

Here is something that one of our founding fathers ACTUALLY said:

"Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof", thus building a wall of separation between church and State."
    - Thomas Jefferson

And lest someone try to bring up the argument that when the founding fathers said "religion", they meant "Christianity", here is yet another actual quote from Jefferson:

"The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."

Finished my public schooling in Texas in 2010. Sounds like I got out at about the right time.
