Apparently, the screen is a bit longer but has returned to its original narrow size pre 10.5-inch in both screen and body. Take a look at the picture I’ve posted. I’m quite upset by this it’ll mean less information: less text, less image and less layers viewing when editing pictures. The only positive I can think of is that it’ll be comfortable to hold and type on again in portrait mode like the 9.7-inch was.. but I rather have a wider iPad. And I’ve considered the the new 12.9-inch but it’s not an option because of costs and size. I always have my iPad 10.5 in my bed, because I have problems falling asleep and watching relaxing YouTube videos helps me. I used to own a 12.9-inch last year for a short time and it almost feel on my face daily. It’s also still very close to the old one in width so it will barely be any smaller in landscape. It also hurt my eyes, since I like to hold my iPad close to my face.
