The good: There is important and arguably shocking information detailed, clearly there is Saudi/Bandar-Haifa culpability in the financing of 9/11 hijackers and their enablers/handlers, and more generally Saudi support to al-Qaeda and other jihadists. It also is understandable why the 28 pages were hidden from the public: to save from embarrassment, U.S. officials, inparticularly George W. Bush, relating to his personal friendship with “Bandar Bush.” The bad: In a sense I feel betrayed; that I was misled. In the selling of necessity to declassify the 28 pages, it was portended by several who had read it, that it contained information detailing plural foreign governments’ involvement in the attacks. After reading—it says no such thing. And as such, I feel a sense of personal embarrassment because I have loudly amplified the plural foreign government narrative. In that, I was wrong; bad information.
