I was wondering if it was possible to walk into an Apple Store with a 16GB iPod touch with problems and swap it out for an iPhone. I love my iPod touch, but having no apps or any games on it is starting to irritate me...

Provided you purchased it within the last 14 days, in the worst case you can exchange it and pay $40 and get an iPhone.

If you can justify the problems and they agree, you may be able to get a store credit and not pay the restocking fee. That's what they offered me, but I rather like the Touch and picked up another.

Shortly afterwards, I started thinking about an iPhone instead, then 1.1.1 came out and I decided I made the correct choice for the time being.

Is it worth $60/month for apps and games? Or the potential of a brick if you unlock?

OK, don't get me wrong but the iPod touch is still amazing. But what the rumors that are flying around iPhone 2.0, I don't really know what to expect.:apple:
