It's People and Apps like this that make me ashamed to be called human.
I know this sounds mean, but I hope this app fails so miserably that the only intake you receive is that of debt. Only then can civilization move forward...

LOL, well said. I thought the newly disclosed App Store Guidelines covered this:

1: We have over 250,000 apps in the App Store. We don't need any more Fart apps. If your app doesn't
do something useful or provide some form of lasting entertainment, it may not be accepted.

2: If your App looks like it was cobbled together in a few days, or you're trying to get your first practice
App into the store to impress your friends, please brace yourself for rejection. We have lots of
serious developers who don't want their quality Apps to be surrounded by amateur hour.

What a waste of coding ability and imagination. We reject thee

Perhaps your next app should allow judgmental people compare their forum posts with others worldwide. Good luck with the app.

    Sorry guys

It's just that my Cure Cancer and Make World Peace apps are taking a little longer to develop than this one did. Hopefully those two will live up to your lofty standards.

Apple has specifically said they don't need any more fart apps and will be rejecting them.

The app acts as a fart counter. I haven't seen any of these before, so I'm guessing that it counts as "something useful". Then again, I don't really search for "fart soundboards" or "fart counters". At least it's not another fart soundboard, right?

Even if you made a Cure Cancer app, you'd still have people saying "It's too expensive! $0.99 is too much to cure cancer" or "It doesn't support Retina display". Some people are impossible to please.

I haven't searched those terms either, know why? Because I don't strive to be the lowest common denominator. I pride myself in the ability to see past the everyday stupidity that inevitably surrounds us.

People (myself included) are criticizing this because it's tasteless and down right insulting to app developers as a whole. If someone told me they were an app developer, I would think of fodder like this and think, that doesn't really mean much these days. Honestly man, what are we, the consumers, supposed to think of the developer when he cranks out things like this? Hopefully you designed these with very very small children in mind as your lead demographic.

Don't stop developing apps though, just develop apps that don't make me slam my head against my desk like this one. No one is doubting that you don't have the potential to develop great things, were just not seeing your true stride with apps that revolve around flatulence.

Regardless of your choices, good luck with your future endeavors. ;)
