The feel of running the X naked

Not sure ive really seen anybody talk about this yet but the feel of this phone is different than anything ive used before.
One word to describe it is buttery smooth. The glass and stainless steel just feel way different than past iPhones. Almost feels soft in a way even though I know they are hard materials.
I do plan on running the X naked just like the all of my last ones going back to the 4.
My 3g was the only phone I had in a case.

I put a case on in the store and I just could not do it.

sounds like some bad luck. my iron grip won't let go even if I get knocked out somehow. I just know it

I think it is still a touch too slippery for no case, and I cannot stand the wobble on a flat surface. I really want to go without a case because the phone looks so good, but pairing it with the Apple leather case is pretty much a perfect combo for practical handling.

I’m using a glass screen protector and pitaka case like I use on my 7 plus the last year. Bare fells nicer but I like to use at lease some protection

I'd prefer having my 6s naked as well, but smartphones are so fragile, I wouldn't be able to use one without a case, especially if I paid $1500 CAD for an iPhone X I wouldn't use it naked a single second...

I don’t mind he Apple cases but prefer naked, the feel and the constant reminder of the beautiful design is good good to wrap up in a case. I have AppleCare plus, bank and home insurance so I’m covered.

I used my jet black plus without a case, again as the colour and feel were fantastic. No screen protector too.

I pay for the bill with my Wells Fargo credit card so its covered.
I also feel like im not like most as ive not had a case in 7 years.
The 7+ was SLIPPERY as hell and I didn't have any issues with it. I dropped it twice on my carpet but never outside.
The x is very similar to the jet black with the glass you have that friction.
Still I think the x is the best feeling iPhone or any phone ive ever held. I wouldn't want this in case

Well. I’m a 220lb former front-row rugby player, but sometimes these things happen. Phone is fine; but I’m not sure ‘only clumsy people drop phones’ is a statement that holds much water.

I actually feel like my X is more slippery with the Apple Silicone Case on it versus being naked...

I think I’ll keep the case for when I’m going out to places where I will want to set the phone down on a table or something, but other than that I’ll be going without.

I am naked with my iPhone X on the couch. but put it in a gel case for now just cause I do not want the apple scratched up on the back.

But today I get a film coat for the back which will protect the apple on back from scratching. Then I will go mostly naked then.

Might try some cases. but overall nudity = best phone experience for me.

These phones are too beautiful to put on a case. Been running naked since 4 as well and had every model yearly. I’m with you that this phone feels better to hold than the previous design and it is much more grip as well.

Interesting. I don't even know how I would start that! I set it on my desk at work and home all the time. I guess I could make a spot or something. Even still, I feel like you would need a pretty cushy surface to prevent the wobble of the X. It seems pretty severe.

Always use my phones naked don’t like cases added weight for nothing. And my phones always remain in great condition so I’m doing something right.
