    Alabama Shakes are great.

    Lady Gaga has immense talent.

Justin Bieber really isn't that bad, although I still hate him.

Yea, Lady Gaga is overlooked as true talent because of her pop music.

Haven't watched it, but I admit that I look forward to the Glen Frey tribute. Bernie Leadon was one of the original members of the Eagles, and played banjo on the original album version of Take It Easy.

The Stevie Wonder Braille bit was genius from a genius.

And who guessed the over/under for a POTUS winning a Grammy?

Every name mentioned so far except the eagles, is an act I loathe.

I think he might actually be worse than the current candidates.

I've never actually heard of Alabama Shakes, so this is no knock on them, but it's kind of amazing and sad that the Grammy's seem to have no idea what rock music is.

I saw alabama shakes on jools holland..... Just didn't get them at all.

Considering they gave skrillex and diplo award, they seem to not know what electric music is either :D

All I can say is I'm glad Kanye didn't play, his SNL performance sounded like Stephen Hawking's voice translator got thrown in a blender.

Dissed? She *****slapped him, pimpslapped him again for good measure, made him her *****, and told him to take his broke arse outside and work to make his own money instead of trying to put his hand out to billionaires who earned theirs, asking if they can spare a billion.

After his narcissistic attacks, he deserves every bloody word she said.

I can get behind indefinite detention for him and the whole Kardasian clan. I hope they go away like Madonna.

Apparently Ghost won, nice for them - the media buzz can help to get some extra attention.

I thought the same thing. They're really good but I wouldn't put them in the rock bin.

Let's keep in mind that a lot of awards were handed out prior to the telecast, so a lot was missed, because the show will always want to show the Pop element, because that is what's popular.

Case in point: With Jimmy Carter winning a Grammy, it would be interesting to hear his acceptance speech.

I personally blame Obama for Adele's mic incident.

I would. They're Blues Rock, with a tradition going back to the Rolling Stones through the Black Keys.

I guess you could put them in the American Roots category, but I think they're firmly in the rock category, which includes rock and metal.

They haven't known what Rock is for a couple of decades. It's sad.

Of course they know what Rock music is! it involves not putting out an album for 20something years, and is lead by a frontman with a flute (yes, I'm looking at you, Jethro Tull).

Cool story bro, thanks for sharing.

Anyway, its hilarious watching the vitriol the public had for Lady Gaga slowly lift. She's doing an amazing PR job with all of these high profile, non-pop, live performances.

Agreed, it's just a question of who is the bigger one, Kanye I think just pips T.Swizzle as he is flat-out embarrasing.

But Lady GaGa, David Bowie would be proud, R.I.P Mr Jones.
