My goodness, the Left is going totally shock-bird*.

Oh wait, did I say this was the reaction to Trump?? Sorry—these are what the Left was saying the day after Ronald Reagan’s election in 1980.

*"whackobird" auto-corrected to this. I thought it was neat so I left it.

Pretty sure there weren't mass riots after Obama's election.

Riots perhaps not, but conservatives definitely freaked out about it. Remember the record gun sales?

Yet no violence. To be sure, Obama doesn't believe anyone should own a gun so it's best to buy one before you can't. Kind of like stocking up on gas in a gas shortage.

I didn't say there was violence. There was a freakout. That's indisputable.

The Liberal/Leftist/Progressives have regularly rioted as a method of whining. Smash windows of businesses, burn cars. Beat on opponents.

Regardless of our sadness at losing elections, we deplorable conservatives do not resort to violence. Mostly, we just go back to work to cope with the ever-lessening standard of living engendered by the taxes to support Liberal governmental programs.

Heh. When was the last KKK violence? All I've heard about have been a few, small-attendance parades in mommy's sheets and form-fitting hats. Extra work for the FBI members of the local Klavern.

Comparisons between the election of Reagan in 1980 and what just happened are seriously wide of the mark.

Ronald Reagan had been a successful Governor of California. He had been active in the national political scene for years. In order to get his agenda put into place he needed the cooperation of the Democrats in Congress. And unless I'm missing something, he had never declared bankruptcy. He had never boasted about sexually assaulting women. And he rightly viewed the Russian intelligence service as a hostile and dangerous force for evil. Not a warmly welcomed collaborator.

Ronald Reagan called for walls to be torn down. Trump wants to build the biggest one in the world between us and an ally and one of our largest trading partners.

Do you have any arguments to make here, or do you just like calling people names?

Yeah they kind of did. Conservatives tards were saying the following:

    He's not an American
He's going to take our jobs
He's going to take our guns
He's going to enforce Sharia Law
    He's a Muslim

    among other embarrassingly idiotic things

And more importantly their elected idiots spend 8 years trying to turn him into a failure, blocking him at every chance they could, egging on their supporters by saying how horrible a president he was, disrespecting him in public, etc etc

They definitely did that. I'm sure we're going to get that again the next 4 years though. Don't act like democrats are superior. They're generally equally partisan and ignorant.

Either way it doesn't matter. Don't try to start this "they did it first" nonsense. Otherwise I'll send you back to Israel or Palestine and you can sit there and have that conversation with those morons.

I'm sorry, but there is no equality of ignorance when Republicans are the ones continuing to deny climate change.

Its pretty damning in itself. The long term ramifications of this willful ignorance are devastating.
