I know a lot of people are planing on selling their iPhones when the new one is released this month so I figured in here and talk about what generation iPhone, how many GB and how much you're selling it for.

I have a iPhone 4 32GB I'm going to try to see if I can get $400 for it

The thread title sounds like we're discussing an episode of the NBC sitcom ... :D

More on topic: I think we will sell the wife's 4/16/black, and keep my 4S/32/black for a backup, test/development device and/or pass it down to the little person as an iPod Touch-like device :)

might want to edit the thread title and replace "office" with "official" - to say nothing of the fact that the self proclaimed "official" threads may be a bit over done... Anyway... I'll play along...

I've got a well loved 32 gig iPhone 4 that I've been rocking since launch day. Been a great phone. it's got some dings, and a slight crack on the back, in the lower right hand corner. Still, works like a champ and looks about 8/10 I'd say. Hoping to get $250 for it.

Ha that's for pointing that out didn't even realize that.

I sold my 64 gig ATT black iPhone4s yesterday to a guy on Craigslist for $480. I was expecting to sell it for more than that but he was the only one that emailed me when I set it for 480 so I just went with it and i'm impatient and needed the money so I could preorder it tomorrow (if preorders start tomorrow) :0

I have a 4 32GB jailbroken Pristing condition, I will only sell it if the the iPhone 5 is nothing like the leaked pictures :D

I'm going to sell my iPhone 4 32GB when I get my new one. Can't be doing with selling it before and having no phone for a bit. Rather take the financial hit still having a iPhone.

Sold my unlocked 32GB iPhone 4 on eBay for $400. Using an old sony flip phone for the time being. Had a 3G to use, but I lost it :(

Nice. I guess since our 4 is now off contract (AT&T), I should be able to unlock it, which seems to bump the price up a decent amount[?]

Yes, you can unlock it through AT&T support chat line. Saving you the effort of calling.

Go to their website, then support (wireless) and it the chat is on the right hand side bar

I'm going to use one of my children lines to upgrade and then give them my 4 month old 4S. I'll be selling my wifes 4 after we upgrade. It's cracked in the back so I probably will only ask for $150-$200 for it on Craigslist. That will pretty much take care of her upgrade.

Unfortunately, I'll be passing my 4S down to my wife. I say unfortunately, because I'd love to sell it (16gb, black) and use the money towards an unlocked iPhone 5. But she's got the 4 and I promised her months ago that I'd let her have the 4S.

So, I'll end up selling her 4 instead. It's in good shape (the back panel has some scratches where she never removes the case to clean it but the screen and body are flawless). I can swap the back out pretty cheap and it'll look like-new, though. I'd be ecstatic to get $250 for it (16gb, black also).

Ive got 2 32GB 4S w/AppleCare+ so Im hoping simply for $400 each which is low but the resale market is going to be flooded.

I regret buying Applecare+ because having it doesn't entice as much as it should. Thats 2 phones so its $200 of unrecoverable money.

My wife and I both have an iPhone 4 16GB in great condition. Looking to get $225 out of each just to cover the cost of the 5

I have an unlocked Black 4S 64gb from Verizon with AppleCare+. I'm looking to get $450-500 for it. My wife has a white 4s 16gb also unlocked. I'd be happy to get 250 for it.

I've got 2 iPhone 4's, both black, a 16 and a 32. I don't look for top dollar for them. My 32 has a finicky home button, so I'm hesitant to sell it to anyone I know or on eBay as I don't want to hear about it. Amazon will give me $250 for it, but don't know what that will be after the event. They are offering $230 for the 16.

With the resell market about to get flooded then is anyone choosing to just keep their phone as an emergency/kids/no-service device rather than sell for dirt cheap? Even without phone service then these are amazing devices.

That was my plan originally, but the wife doesn't want an iPhone (I know, crazy right?). So now I have to decide if I'm selling my mint 64GB 4S or sit this one out. And yes, it has Applecare+.
