The iPod is on a steady march to mainstream

    I guess pretty soon we will have lawsuits against Apple for "Ipod addiction".... :) :) :)

    in a one horse, two house, three pub town.
    A recent BBC article ( remarks on how Brits will have to pay import duty on items purchased over £145 ($260 US current exch). Their opening line is "Thousands of Britons are cashing in on exchange rates by shopping in the US for expensive items like iPods ..."

    Now, even though it has been given such prominence here and in many other similar internet articles, I really think that it has got a long way to go before it becomes mainsteam in this country. People I know have asked of mine where I put the disk in, or does it run of normal AA batteries etc.

    From my experience it's still a little too niche. But I would give it a year, particularly after iTMS Europe is unleashed.
