Hey guys

I finally stepped out of my comfort zone and uploaded a video where I talk about the first upgrades which I have done on my most favourite Macintosh system so far. The Mac Pro 2009 4,1 :apple:

The upgrades are not much. But perhaps they may give someone an idea on what they could do possibly and how, especially the Bluetooth Antenna upgrade, which I now find really priceless :)

Here's the vid:

I hope you won't find it too boring! :D I'm usually more energetic when I speak. It's only that I'm pretty nervous when I know that video will be published and watched by strangers and I'm sure this fear will diminish over time + English is not really my first language :)

More upgrades to come in the future I hope!

I'm interested in your 2013 iMac wifi/Bluetooth card installation. I see those cards for sale on eBay. Did you install it yourself and how difficult was it. Does it require any modification to the logic board or the card?

I also have a 5.1 2009 Mac Pro with the same weak BT issue. I tried a $10 USB dongle and the Apple Developer's BT firmware hack which worked but not if you boot into Windows 7 via Bootcamp and also after you boot back into OSX.

excellent

Thanks for posting the youtube video and for sharing your journey thus far. I am considering getting a new mod machine but I live on messages and an eager to know if the bluetooth/wifi mod worked with handoff etc
