    Current events might have been better. I don’t see how this would be seen as political at all.

    As much as it is awesome to locate these sunken warships, it's a mixed bag cause these wrecks are being sullied by low life scrappers who desecrate these grave sites cutting up the wrecks and sell the metal for scrap. HMS Repulse and HMS Prince of Wales has suffered from these low lives. But, they do lay in much shallower waters than Lady Lex. So hopefully Lady Lex's deep water grave protects her from this fate.

    That is disgraceful what the scrappers are doing to those wrecks.

    I’m sure here the depth of the water will prevent that kind of vandalism. But good job you figured out a possible angle to this that might turn political.

    Awesome, now if the Lady Lex would show up in Kantai Collection, I'd be tickled Ince I just got Saratoga.

    Good article. On the OP link page I read and scrolled down to find the article about the discover of the USS Indianapolis, and was immediately reminded of Quint’s story in Jaws. It still gives me shivers.
