What an idiot. She should have handed the responsibility to the 8 year old.

Or she shouldn't have been drinking, and this wouldn't have happened at all.

What I want to know is does she still have the children. She's clearly not a capable parent.

Like it is easy to stop an alcoholic from drinking.

Basically it would be far easier for everyone to take their car away, and hand them the keys to a motorcycle the second they sign an organ donor card.

Well at least the kid was under the limit... One sober driver is better than non, either way alcohol + kids + driving = bad thing....

Wow, that's a bit close to home. Her third offense in six years, and with kids in the car. Hopefully she'll have some nice stone walls to stare at while she sobers up for a couple years.

I'm sure glad this entire day didn't pass without me learning something.

Well if you add 8+5+1, you get 14. Practically old enough to drive. She was just treating the three kids as one teenager. Progressive parenting and all.

Whose feet were on the gas/brake pedals?

Either this is a very tall 1-yr old or a very small car.

Not the first time I've heard of this, but I'd actually rather have the toddler steer than the 8 year old.

Kimi Raikonnen acts like he's a drunken 21 year old when he's not on the track (gorilla costumes, entering snowmobile races as James Hunt, falling off boats while drunk, etc.), and he's almost 30. :D
