The new iPhone leak doesn't match Brownlee's sapphire display?

I think we all prefer the display and bezel from that video, the leaked photos look like a clone after some analysing.

Literally under 3 days to go, we haven't got much longer to wait. Let's just be a little patient.

I don't think the latest leak is a fake. Apple definitely lazied-out and just left the same bezels.

That's the thing, the leaks haven't been coming out just this week. Marques Brownlee got his hands on a dummy iPhone 6 video back in May, which exactly looks like the supposed leaked iPhone 6 we are seeing now.

This one is quite different. Working screen. Proper home screen layout (not the 5 layout stretched to fit). New passbook icon. Proof of App Store and touch id. No other leak had any of that. And for the last two, they can't fake that stuff on Android.

No other leaks have a working copy of iOS. This one clearly does.

This thicker bezels are another sign. No other "leak" as far as I can tell had side bezels as thick as this one.

go through the main news post on this story and you'll see that this is fake.

Care to point out what about it suggests a fake? Nothing is pointed out in the main news post. Seems to have a fake box but the phone itself is solid.

If you mean the guy saying Taobao one is $70, the Tapbao one has an obviously wrong Typeface on the back for "iPhone". The fakers almost always get the typeface wrong. It is too thick on the Taobao one. On the new leak it is spot on.

Fake box, old iOS 7 icon design (gradients on mail, safari and App Store icons are much more subtle in iOS 7.1 and 8), Touch ID material seems different as it doesn't reflect light like glass should etc etc

Without a screenshot the gradients are meaningless. They will always be distorted when taking photographs of a phone, especially in a dark room. Try it yourself with 7.1.

I admit the Touch ID looks like different material but the leaked part is meaningless as it could very well be fake as well. Is it inconceivable that Apple could have used a different material on an updated sensor? Or that it could be covered with grease and thumbprints which would lend it that exact texture you see? Again, try it yourself. Grease it up and repeatedly touch the sensor and see if it doesn't get the texture in the pics.

Sorry not to blindly defend some random Chinese dude I don't know but the only point of yours that seems at all believable is about Touch ID and there are at least two possible reasonable explanations for it. Etc etc doesn't say much.

It doesn't have to be cooked up in 3 days, because the dummy has been around for months ergo with a little ingenuity it's definitely possible to create a working clone of it.

There are already plenty of 5C/5S clones out there on the Chinese market, so what's not to say they can't do one with a larger screen and with the aesthetics of the leaked iPhone 6 case.

Anyway, Tuesday will reveal all.

The gradients are obviously more pronaunced on the bigger phone, and no amount of dark exterior and optical illusions would make them look like that.

Phones are photographed from the same angle here.

Not to mention the music app has reversed gradients (from light to dark), compared to the current one (dark to light)

The iPhone 6 is just on full brightness and the 5s not - problem solved. Also the iPhone 6 is in center of the picture.

Why does the music App icon have reversed gradients then?
Because Apple obviously changed it in the latest betas we haven't seen. Christ, if it was running beta 4/5 with the new Control Center people would shout "fake," even if Tim Cook was using it. The overwhelming software evidence confirms this is the real deal, or they somehow got a new iOS build on a fake phone, which is impossible. You are all going to look so pathetically frazzled on Tuesday.

So this iPhone 6, runs iOS 8 (with build number older than iOS 8 beta 5), with iOS 7 BETA design, except for the music app, which uses a new yet to be seen design:rolleyes: please.

I don't really care that much whether this is real or not, but this just seems to be fishy. Not only do things I mentioned look wrong, but there are professional leakers on twitter claiming this is fake, the box looks so fake it's not even funny lol:p etc
