Exactly! He served in exactly the same role Trump did during that war. Well, not really; he did finally enter the Reserves, whereas Trump successfully dodged the draft completely.

Or, Blumenthal. You know the guy that repeatedly lied about his service in Vietnam.

I would take issue with Trump too if he said he served in Vietnam when he clearly didn't.

Oh, Trump never lied about his service in Vietnam at all! After all, those bone spurs -- you know, the ones that were the reason he was not drafted -- have been crippling to him for his entire life.

You should probably blame the system that allowed those deferments.

Wait, what? You mean the system allowed you to lie about your health? If it was legal to do so, why didn't everybody just say they had bone spurs?

I'm not sure why people on the left are losing their minds about Trump criticizing a judge.

Seeing as National Security was partly used in defending the EO and the botched implementation, they had every right to ask for evidence.

Actually, the Government argued that the national security judgements of the President are unreviewable by the federal courts, as it should be. They were forced to justify the EO because the judges started asking questions they shouldn't be asking. The only question they should be deliberating is whether the executive order is within the President's authority, not whether his judgements on terrorism related to the order are proper.
