iPod touch The onscreen control at hold doesn't work!?

Hi i just got me IPT, and after "playing" aroud i noticed that a feature is missing.

At the guidet Tour they said , that it is possible to open the onscreen control, like play pause, next, forward and the vol level, by pressing at hold the home button twice! (source guided tour movie from Apple.com at 7min and 52 sec.)


well even at the demo it doesn't look like he is pressing the botton twice.

well i want to ask if you could try it out and tell me if it worked on yours or not

my ipod Touch is XXX38XX... .

did you mean to say press and hold? you only need to press twice, no holding on the second home button press.

yeh all you need to do is press the home button twice and it works fine (mine is a week 38 aswell)
