So it appears that the government will continue to invade the privacy of businesses, individuals, and I have no idea what the lone wolf initiative is, sounds like a free choice to investigate anyone you want card.

If congress continues with the above mentioned patriot act provisions and Obama signs it , it indeed becomes his fault.

If Obama and the Democrats don't bury it, it's abuse becomes their responsibility.

Apparently thats the view that Obama subscribes to, you guys are the one who voted for him, I never voted for Bush. Personally I think its a slap in the face to the people behind him if he does keep the patriot act in place.

Truly unfortunate. Further evidence that Obama is just Bush with an even bigger-government kick. If you had wanted real change, someone who actually voted against the Patriot Act (and FISA) and a whole host of other things... someone who would have ended the Afghanistan war immediately, and would have stood up for freedom and liberty regardless of whether it mattered to him personally or not, you should have campaigned for Ron Paul.

    But I agree...bad move on Obama's part.

(And friends, bookmark this thread. Save it for the next time somebody says we never criticize Obama.)

I would rather have the right rally behind Ron Paul then someone like Glenn Beck. Im not saying you have to like Paul, but look at the alternatives on the right.
