The Royal Prince wedding in the UK

I had some paint to watch dry rather than the 24/7 coverage.

Still it seems like they love each other. Which is a great start .

 

Let's not make this about Trump. Caught bits of it here and there on satellite. Happy for the couple. Though I'm happy for anyone who is in the process of getting married.

Watched the actual ceremony, which was nice, but driven mad by the over-coverage and discussions, analysis and opinion pieces ad nauseam

 

As Bill Maher brought up on his show, isn't royalty something that should be left in the past. This whole notion of calling someone your Highness because they are supposedly special for doing nothing, its kind of a dated way of thinking.

 

The Royals are cool ... wonder if little Prince George knows he'll be King of England.

 

The movie Disney did not make.

 

We didn't even make it to post #2 before US presidential politics was injected.

 

Politicians are rarely invited to these events.

 

Well, its nice to have sort of an adopted first family, especially now.

 

The Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is from Argentina.

 

I do have to say that this is a very.... weird and uncomfortable seating arrangement.

Not about Diana, but William is seated next to Charles who is seated next to Camilla (controversy right there; I won't go into that, as this isn't the time or place), and then Princess Kate rounding it out. This puts Kate sitting away from her husband, or if that were resolved, William sitting further away from his father. There's no real way to resolve it without it looking awkward.

Regardless, this is Harry and Meghan's day, so it doesn't really matter, as long as they are all there and celebrating their day. I do love the touch with Diana, and glad that Charles was able to walk Meghan down the aisle.

Didn't watch, and didn't click on the numerous articles on news sites about it.

 

Oh, no doubt, and no argument there. I was mainly commenting on the seating arrangement as to what was pictured, not throughout the entire ceremony.

Doesn't matter. I'm sure the anger has subsided. Though people generally aren't keen on homewreckers.

Neither have I watched the numorous weddings and child baptisms of all the kids of Sweden’s prince, crown-princesses and princess. Can’t keep count even

 

I cared enough about it such that I slept through it. Congrats though to Rachel Zane and Harry.
