iPod touch The status of the shipment for pre-ordered touch?

mine is W309 and it has yet to change to prepared for shipment...so number has nothing to do with it...haha
W309 and still no change from not yet shipped
OK I can ALMOST understand shipping to Best Buy and Apple stores b4 completing online orders....but shipping out of order !!!! that's just STUPID.
P.S. B4 you say it, I'm not talking about ppl getting 8gb non-engraved touches b4 I get my 16gb engraved, I'm comparing apples to apples.

I can't understand neither. I don't understand why they ship to best buy or apple so early when the online order was a "preorder". I understand if you ship them so that best buy and apple stores can have them the 28th and that the preorders ship the 28th but i don't understand this. And shipping them out of order i don't understand neither. It's all just STUPID.
This goes to show that never rush to line for Apple products. You Pre-Order peepz placed your money down even earlier than me (who got it at Best Buy on my lunch break 1hr after they received it, while returning something there so I wasn't even trying to buy one)

2 other people in Toronto got their 16GB Engraved touches and they ordered 2 days AFTER me...
That pisses me off... I'm calling to complain now....
This is the same as going to the apple store and waiting in the 4 hour line up for a product and them walking to the back of the line and saying "Why don't you come to the front and we wil serve you first"
While this isn't the end of the world by any means, it's still bad business...
