The swirling colored “sand” X ad?

Anyone see the iPhone X ad they’ve been airing during the World Series tonight?

The screen on the phone in the ad has this mesmerizing multicolored sparkly sand-like effect that swirls around on the screen, pooling in the corners.

Not sure if it’s just something they made for the commercial or a live wallpaper or what. Anyone know?

I would love it if it were a live wallpaper. Apple's live wallpaper game is weak AF. Really under-utilized feature in my opinion.

They used the same liquid “wallpaper” during the keynote.

No one knows if it’ll be a real thing on actual iPhone X devices (won’t know until Friday or possible reviews before then.)

I absolutely hope they’re a real wallpaper exclusive to the X, but they were probably only made for the promotional footage of the phone to show off that screen and the rounded corners.

I really wish this was a live wallpaper on the X. It would look so good! It’s not on the review units so I doubt it will be in the phone on release. Massively missed opportunity if this is the case. The old ones look amazing on the X and these would look even better. We should start a petition haha
