So a tweet he did Saturday was magically going to get millions of people to do some rally on Monday a work day. LOL.

Yeah... This is Donald still getting used to the surreal experience of governing. Back in the day as a CEO he could say JUMP and his subordinates would ask how high. Now he mistakes us for subordinates, and we don't and can't operate that way.

I guess this proves our theory that the right is always busy working? :D

    he said
there was no date, some decided Monday was it, still I don't see the reason for a rally.

The rally would be proof his followers heard him and are still staunch supporters. Of course he forgot that some of his followers do have jobs. A lot of them, apparently. Or else... well, let's not go there, I don't want to upset the Don.

Now If there had been a YUGE turnout he could have mentioned it in tonight's speech. Of course he could still take a chance and mention it. It wouldn't be the first time he dressed up some numbers and took them out for a walk. Time will tell.

Simple math - his crowd would never exceed the other marches. Also - there's a typo - it should be minion rally ;)

It's called rush hour. It happens twice a day.

Taking a lunch hour just means you go home later than already late. Mine were long enough to grab something and bring it back to the job, except once in awhile someone's birthday might swing us all down to Chinatown and blow off half the afternoon.

That's just sad. Some of these had just a handful of people. Less people than I had from spontaneous people driving by at a No on Prop 8 rally that I threw together!

    Sad!

He uses them like a baby uses their blanket. He has to run to rallies for security. They are his security blanket. And it's really really sad.

Now, if he were using these rallies to do something other than pontificate and gloat, like selling a healthcare bill perhaps, that would be understandable and okay. But he will get up there and do nothing more then his political comedy act at the improv, bash the media who will be holding their dinner tonight too, and call it a success. But it's not a success. It's just an illusion. And not presidential at all

I'd be more concerned with his policy and what he plans to pass over the next year personally.

As the last 100 days have shown, what he plans and what will happen are two very different things. And his policies tend to be vague and changeable. So it's difficult to focus on some of them. He's a shape shifter at times!

Which would be a great excuse for why so few showed up, but I think all of his actual supporters did show up.

The democrats would be smart to latch on to the changeable part, right wing extremists are playing a funny game right now because they know Trump needs them, if the left can get Trump negotiating with them instead they might be in a better spot.

Should have had an anti-Hillary rally if he wanted the millions.

Could be a worse spot too though, If Democrats help him to look good and basically help him to get reelected, well, that's just more conservative seats in the Supreme Court to fill. Doesn't seem like a smart strategy.

To stroke his fragile ego and/or distract from his low poll numbers (although as we all know those are rigged ;))
