So the Vatican thinks having information all over the place is wrong and deemed Satanist... but don't take my word for it:

    Source: http://gizmodo.com/#!5788388/vatican-claims-the-nasty-internet-is-creating-more-satanists
Note: Although the article quoted here is from Gizmodo, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Following is the actual article:

    Source: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/rel...emand-for-exorcists-says-Catholic-Church.html

Anyways... My point of view? Vatican is clinging desperately to people's fear of the unknown. Just like Gizmodo's writer said, "Why restrict the freedom of information?"

Just why?! I bet the Catholic Church wants to go back to the ye ol'e days of the Dark Ages. Delusional old geezers.

The Vatican is all for spreading ITS information. Just don't get too learned to start asking questions.

Have these people seen what's on the internet? Satan is the least of their problems.

Besides, it's not like Christians/Catholics don't have an internet presence.

One would think that the web has made it easier than ever before to access information on Catholicism as well.

So I'm afraid I don't get their point.

I always knew the Internet was an Information Superhighway to Hell.

Frankly, that explains the large prevalence of Justin Bieber memes, Basement Cat, and the astonishing awfulness of Snakes on a Plane.

What do the Pope and this guy have in common?

The lust to restrict information and knowledge.

Are you saying that's really what the University members were referring to by "Satanism?" So by "exorcism," perhaps they mean "disarmament?"

    I would much rather my kids know how a bomb works than see g o a t s e...

Is it just me, or does that look like a promotional web site for "The DaVinci Code III: Vatican City"? :D

Starring Tom Hanks, and Hal Holbrooke as Pope Benedict.

Couldn't find the HD trailer, though. ;)

No, we care about what they say, as citizens, but the Catholic Hierarchy is past it's best-before date.

Satan = Beelzebub = Baal = just another member of the Canaanite pantheon the Hebrews worshipped throughout pre-exilic history and whom Jews, Christians and Muslims still acknowledge to this day in the guise of "angels".

Priests should be more worried about the dangers posed to young people by other priests.
