And it won't stop. SCOTUS opened Pandora's box with the hobby lobby decision. I can see big corporate buying back shares to be considered a "closely held company" and making "religious freedom" decisions against employees. So much for democracy and "personal freedom". Oh well, I guess 238 years was long enough...

Companies HAD the freedom not to provide health care. Plenty went to 28 hours & others decided not to offer the HC since it was now mandated. The fine us cheaper than the HChttp://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/05/06/att-verizon-considered-dropping-health-insurance-employees/

I get pissed when I can't go to a kosher deli and can't get bacon.

The feds need to get involved and force those Jews to make bacon for me...

I wasn't aware eating bacon was a medical thing. I also wasn't aware there was a law regarding bacon eating, and how it's mandated that places provide bacon.

Yeah, because people are born "bacon eaters" and it's a part of who hey are ...

    Oh, wait, that's not true.

Why can't we get less sucky arguments from conservatives?

Glad you did not call me a republican:)
Rights of the people vs rights of business owners. Seems we can't have both

Big businesses will do no such thing because an anti-minority agenda will play badly in urban America and Europe.

The concept of society-based freedom is undermined and misrepresented frequently. Being able to control our individual reproduction should be a basic right and freedom, not only for the individual but for society as a whole, especially for you conservatives who don't want to pay for someone's kid. But you can't have your cake and eat it too. Man up.

To deny insurance coverage based on an individual's/corporation's "freedom" to deny others, disgusts me to the max as I've already expressed in the Hobby Lobby thread. It's obvious that there is no example where "freedoms" should be defined as a right to exert your personal preference onto others.

I'm out of assuming all Conservatives are Republican. Most, if not all, Republicans are Conservative, but the reverse isn't true.

Also, I don't see how this is a rights of the people vs business owners sort of thing. It's quite simple. If you're born black, or gay, or hispanic, or Irish, you're born that way. The whole bacon from a jewish deli thing isn't something you're born into. You're not born into being a bacon eater.

I don't think anyone particularly wants to pay for other peoples excess children. I don't think that's a conservative vs liberal issue.

It's sad to see how far this once great nation has fallen. And we continue our downward spiral to becoming the extremist fundamentalist christian version of Iran. Get ready for more christian sharia law rulings in the future. RIP separation of state and fairy tales.

Because then they wouldn't have any ****in argument at all.

You were raised in a "abstinence only" state, weren't you?

And pray tell, how does a woman control where a man chooses to ejaculate?

    Probably true.

You basically said the same tired crap from an abstinence only policy.

    ----------

Obviously, according to his logic, the woman is just supposed to not have sex. Sorry.

    Yeah, she must be joking.

Women shouldn't ever have sex unless they are married and trying to have a baby. Dirty whores.

    /s

The religious male inferiority complex and need to control women is pathetic.

So in your mind it's ok for one type of business to limit the type of product they offer. By another business has no such rights?

I believe my point has eluded you. Conservatives want woman to pop out kids, but then don't want to deal with kids who are born into poverty. With conservatives it's all about money. I submit to you that the price of contraception is a better deal than welfare.
