You're gonna have to give me a few minutes - I'm having a hard time holding my 3GS at an angle that provides a good shot of my taint.

Sorry, TV, all your candidates are already spoken for by other groups, and are thus not available for the GOP nomination.

Freaking brilliant. :p I especially liked the Dr. Smith one.

One might, however, argue that the Independent Party candidate might look more like this:

And let's not forget the Rand Paul-libertarian candidate:

This thread wonderfully illustrates why Sarah Palin won't just fade away.

    OK, it's official.

This is THE BEST thread of the year.

Maybe this decade, but that might be premature.

Some may think I'm exaggerating by saying a broom would be a better president than Sarah Palin (to be fair, I wanted a picture of a broom with a bucket for a head, but couldn't find one) but the more and more I think about it, the more I can confirm that a broom would, in fact, have a more successful presidency than Sarah Palin. First of all, Sarah Palin would kill any bi-partisanship that Democrats would be willing to share, creating an extremely hostile environment that serious politics could not operate under. Meanwhile, politicians would be fairly uninterested in the Presidential Broom, allowing them to work for policy and not popularity unlike they ever have been able to before. Secondly, Sarah Palin is very... opinionated and she would make liberal (he he) use of her veto power if she were president. Again, creating a useless political environment. Meanwhile, the broom would be unable to veto OR sign bills, meaning they'll pass after a couple days anyway. And finally, foreign policy. Sarah Palin's deep American exceptionalism is a turn-off for most other countries already... but imagine when she actually goes to other places and make speeches. Representing America! Meanwhile, the broom would probably not be invited at all. Sure, there would be a mocking that America is so stupid that we elected a broom as our leader, but that's nothing compared to the mocking we'd get if we elected Sarah Palin as president.
