And I thought this was going to be a new product...

Useful to some perhaps, wonder how much data it uses though!

    Interesting concept.

The Cloud is definitely the future. Using Thin Clients, as long as you have connectivity, is good.

It's neat to deliver it from the "cloud" I guess.

But wherever it's from, VNC on iPhone it VERY cool. I love Jaadu VNC, which lets me remotely view and control both Macs and PCs over 3G (and Edge if I'm patient).

I can even reboot, login from the prompt, switch user accounts, switch display resolutions... pretty much everything except hear sound. It has all the extra desktop keys, scrollwheel, you name it. A full Mac in my pocket, with pinch zooming! The mouse is very precise too. I wouldn't use it all the time, but in certain situations it's a huge lifesaver. For instance, I can email a lost file to my laptop, or convert something with Lightwave which my laptop doesn't have. Or do a quick Web site edit without even NEEDING my laptop at all. Or, when I'm traveling with my laptop and delete a file by accident, I can use my far-away desktop to access the last Time Capsule backup of the laptop.

When I travel, I just have to remember to plug my sleeping desktop in via ethernet, since it's too old to wake wirelessly. (Or else I leave it on running Folding@Home.)
