Newsflash: Every modern country is constantly hacking other nations/companies/parties.

It only actually makes the news and is played up as unprecedented when we're looking to pick a fight. We actively CHOOSE who will be leaders in other countries. We did it in Italy for decades, and recently Victoria Nulan hand picked the current leader of Ukraine (we have the leaked audio).

But let's all collectively crap our pants about Russia, makes sense right?

VrDrew has to be related to McCarthy....

Is there any diffinitve proof that Russia is behind this? To me this blaming Russia thing is largely about drawing focus away from Hillary and the DNCs crooked dealings.

Why would anyone buy disposable landfill fodder or compost? Merchandise from both parties are pretty much "donations diluted by a piece of fluff nobody cares about 50 years later". Otherwise the "Nixon Resigns" newspapers would be worth 500000x more on Ebay.

Are you saying you don't trust the DNC, the Clinton Campaign, a Democrat controlled DOJ, and a Democrat President?

That scene from Harold and Kumar go to white castle, the drive thru one with the dude from Nickelodeon. Yeah. If we could quit being so one sided that would be the required reaction. Instead the otherside will glee with every release just as Republicans have, I'm guilty of it too.

That is compelling that only the Dems are getting hit. Why can't they break IRS servers and release his taxes? Why can't we break his emails and see what his conversations are about other ethnicities?

I think this is a good time for a time-machine. Perhaps some sort of freezing technology so I can come back in 4years.

"I don't do the email thing," Trump said in a 2007 deposition, according to The Times.

In testimony in 2013, Trump revealed that he had embraced email, but only slightly.

"Very rarely, but I use it," Trump said then.

What are your thoughts on Hillary and her statements about her server?

I will note that Pam Anderson bought her (vegetarian) sandwich from Pret A Manger, which is a chain of pretentiously gourmet sandwich shops only slightly less common in London than Starbucks in Manhattan.

In the general category of "tasty fast food you'd actually want to eat for less than $10" - I think it's pretty safe to say that the US is a million miles ahead of the Brits. The exception to this would be Pret A Manger (an English translation is "ready to eat") which features lattes, juices, bottled water, along with a quite impressive selection of packaged take-away sandwiches. (There are a handful of Pret locations in the USA, but none on the West Coast)

Assange may yet live to see his nemesis Hillary Clinton win the Presidency. Although the loss of his internet privileges is going to seriously cut into his porn watching. Maybe he should reconsider returning to face Swedish justice.

Why not??? The only thing we need Russians for is to get to the space station.

Oops we screwed that one up. Any war with Russia, and we'll have to rely on Asian space programs to get a ride.

Yep, better let the Russians be. We need them more than they need us.

Hmmm.... interesting that the space shuttles were retired under democrat rule. Our plan??? Retire our only mode of transportation, without building a replacement fleet. And we'll just rely on the Russians and private party commercial transportation.

So yeah, don't pick a fight with the Russians.

Yeah. Aren't we all just tired of this thing called civilization anyway? Let's give the world to the cockroaches. I, for one, have always supported our cockroach overlords.

Supermarkets all sell fast food that's nearly as good as pret. And there are plenty of independent shops at the same price point.

You're probably right. But you'd have to be a local to know that. And even on her best day, I can't see Pam Anderson queuing at the checkout line at the Sainsbury's Local in the Brompton Road.:p

Sounding like something Penny might say on the Big Bang Theory show. Or she's truly ignorant on the concept. Given that Huma ordered the email filter system shut down because nobody knew how to put her personal address into an exception list (source: Macrumors thread using, what was it, an Anandtech article as source) she probably was sincere and trying to use humor to create camaraderie with voters. It is a funny line.

I doubt it. Probably caught a deadly STD from her... I saw that old tape, like who hadn't...
