At this point it doesn't matter ( for me). I'm done.
I just bought my S3 after buying all iphones (first day since 07). I Love the size of this new phone. It's exactly what I wanted. WIDTH! What a concept. It is a long time coming - for me.
I'll get the wider iphone after apple milks everyone with the 'tall' version and then the 'S' version of the 'tall' iphone. You know apple will eventually go wider,- after the milking of the fan boys is done.

The Infinity Blade stuff was funny. Everything else was "Oh gee, Reality Distortion because Apple does that and it's funny!"
EDIT: I must say that it looks like it's going to be rough times at Apple when you have a large group of people who take the time out to join and post on an Apple forum and bash their new product over and over.

I'd say this is pretty close to what will happen. However, I would add that there's going to be a bit about LTE and how "revolutionary" the speeds are.
As long as he spews plenty of pointless numbers on the millions of iOS devices sold I'll be happy*.

Yea. Satisfied. Got somthing new and wider, which is exactly what i wanted. Dont get me wrong. I love apple, and will be a fan for a long time - because they make great products and, well, I love apple. I'm still here because i LOVE the drama that is occurring. Man this is good stuff.
But this time is different, at least for me. Do i feel i jumped the gun on a "rumor", buying the S3? ...Yea. But it doesnt matter. I have 2 phone lines that are availiable for upgrade, and IF, apple blows my mind and comes out with a WIDER iphone, ill get it, put both phones side by side, (between the S3 and the wider iphone) and choose the better product to keep. Bottom line is I just wanted a wider phone, didn't see it on the apple horizon, and enjoy reading the drama that is Macrumors. That's why I'm here.

Yeah, you're right, why even have an event at all if all it is is blabbing and yadda'ing.
Yeah sure, anyone that has been keeping up with iPhone event's for the past 4-5 years understands that there is alot of 'fluff' prior to new hardware revealing but geez can we still act a little excited and not have this ho-hum apple sucks as usual attitude?

Don't forget the lul in the middle where Forestall talks about the extended list of ios bonuses after he finishes talking about the main ones and then you check the video stream of some nerds talking about the realtime updates and check the reactions on twitter.
If Apple changes it up this year with a different phone from the "rumors and leaks" then we're gonna see a bunch of threads and posts from the people that "hated" the leaked design, on how Apple "played" them for a fool.
Dont forget the part where they spend 5 minutes talking about launching their first Apple retail store in Sweden
