Do your own research, there plenty of competing plans and carriers. You may find a carrier that has good coverage in your area that offers a less expensive plan.

Remember with the above plan you get subsidized pricing ever 2-years (which if you buy an iPhone is $450 credit). $450/24 months = $18.75/month you are saving.

So really, as long as you take advantage of your subsidy every 2-years, you are only paying around $30 per month... not $50. Which is damn good in my opinion :)

Does your plan cover unlimited mobile to mobile mins., or do all calls draw from the 450 mins.?

I purchased my parents a 5S and went to T-Mobile for a basic $35 plan (unlimited talk and text, no data), but am thinking about switching to ATT for their GO PHONE plans for $25 (250 mins. talk, unlimited text which also includes international texts, no data).

AT&T does have the new 2gb mobile share value plan that gives you unl talk and text and 2gb of data for $65 if your off contact, on Next, or on contract before 03/08/14.

No, iOS only has about 40% market share in the US and less than 20% worldwide. You can keep saying that "everyone uses an iPhone" but it's far from the truth.

That would be around $35 per month more than the OP is paying right now since he would be giving up his $450 subsidy. No chance I would I do that personally.

Agree with tsbrick. I have a lot of conversations on my phone that go over regular SMS.

i dont think att have any plan below 40 dollar including tax ,

2gb data is 25 dollar
3gb data is 35 dollar

29.99 cheapest plan 450 minute plus tax

how you calculate all around 35

that not right ....

That $65 plan with unlimited talk, text, and 2GB of data doesn't allow you to subsidize a phone like your current plan does.

So right now you pay $50. The $65 plan would be a $15 increase for sure. PLUS you would be giving up your $450-every-2-years subsidy which comes out to $18.75/month.

So if you switched to the $65 plan it's like you would be paying an additional $15 plus giving up $18.75 per month. $15 + $18.75 = $33.75 which is why I said it would be around a $35/month increase.

Not worth it at all IMO.

This is my bill ATT [ good or not ]

That's actually wrong. The op is getting a 21% discount right now. So on the 2gb mobile share plan he would be paying around 51.35. He can still subsidize but his bill would go up. He could always do full price or next. Next he would pay cheapest $25 so it would go up by around $20. Still more but he would have unl talk and text. It doesn't sound like he needs it though.

Never mind I take that back. The discount is off but right now he is paying $70 before discount. He could do the 2gb plan for $65 and still do 2-year but the bill would go up to $80 so there is a $10 difference. So he gets unl text for $10 instead of $20.
