Use “background sounds” in accessibility to start a sound playing. Now go to camera and take a photo. The background sound should play continuously without interruption.

In iOS 17 a recent bug has caused background sounds to momentarily stop while either in the camera app, or while taking a photo (it’s inconsistent).

If someone with the beta is able to test this I’d be hugely grateful. Even better if you are using an iPhone 12 and AirPod pros, but any iPhone should do.

Yes it play constantly on iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 18 RC.
